Quantum reaction
Edit
Quantum reaction, not sure where this came from not sited. Delete unless someone can find a canon source. Tobyk777 19:09, 23 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- I added a citation, but I'm still weary about the rest of the information. - AJHalliwell 20:42, 23 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Neither am I, I vote to keep it, but probably remove the rest of the junk in the first 3 paragraphs until it can be verified. --Alan del Beccio 18:50, 24 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- I say we merge it with Quantum mechanics. And on that note I say we do the same with Quantum level. Jaf 19:02, 24 Aug 2005 (UTC)Jaf
- I believe there is no such thing as a Quantum reaction, seeing as I have degrees in physics, The lowest state we can describe as having reactions, is the sub-atomic, Quantum is several stages lower than that. User:ms7431
- Keep in mind Star Trek takes place over 300 years in the future -- the existance is therefore always feasable. I believe that the cited reference from "The Sound of Her Voice" is correct. In fact, the script says:
- "We found an energy barrier around the fourth planet that was unlike anything we'd ever seen. When we probed it with our scanners, it triggered a quantum reaction. There was an enormous surge of metrion radiation that disabled our engines. The next thing I knew, we were spiraling in toward the surface. I gave the order to abandon ship and the last thing I remember is a console exploding in my face." --Alan del Beccio 20:39, 24 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Keep and rewrite to include only Trek-relevant info, such as that from "The Sound of Her Voice". --From Andoria with Love 02:26, 25 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Keep and rewrite as Andoria said, but please do merge into a Quantum Mechanics category.--Smith 23:08, 26 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Who wants to rewrite it? :-p --Alan del Beccio 04:38, 30 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Well, I purged the useless info, so right now it's a fully canon page. Done and Kept, or anything else? - AJHalliwell 19:01, 31 Aug 2005 (UTC)
