This doesn't sound familiary, and lack of proper formate makes me suspect it is made up, however, it is linked from the Data page, so its probably a real term just inncorrect. Jaz 02:58, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
Polyalloy[]
(From VfD)
As above, this has been tagged as "PNA" for quite some time. It is unformatted, uncited and current content is definitely not worth keeping. I suggest deletion unless this one is rewritten from scratch. -- Cid Highwind 16:35, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
- The original author was evidently trying to address the one use of "polyalloy" I am aware of. In TNG: "The Chase" Data says "My upper spinal support is a polyalloy designed for extreme stress." Take a look at what I've done to it and let me know if you still think it deserves to be offed. Aholland 17:26, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
- With the changes by Aholland, I think that it's now become something of a worthy article to keep. -- Sulfur 17:38, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
I agree, good rewrite, Aholland. I'm rescinding my deletion suggestion for that article. -- Cid Highwind 20:03, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

- An alloy is typically a homogeneous mixture or solid solution of two or more metals. A polyalloy is likely a combination of two or more alloys that, because it is not homogeneous, is not itself a further alloy.
Speculation and realworld info. — Morder (talk) 23:03, January 20, 2010 (UTC)
