I believe Stage 10 was the original stage used for assorted temporary sets, including planet sets, for the original Star Trek series. The stage was filled nearly to capacity with greenery for "The Apple". Stage 9 had the standing sets: Bridge, Sick Bay, Briefing Room, Captain's Quarters, 4-room Sick Bay complex, Transporter Room, Engineering, Turbo Lift, and a corridor that connected all but the Bridge.
