Walter PierceEdit

Walter Pierce

According to the above link... either Walter Pierce should be added to the "Okuda Award" winners, or that notation should be stricken from his article. Since I'm not sure which... I merely bring the point up for conversation. Hossrex 09:19, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

I think we should add him to this article, but like an "alternate timeline event" because we cannot say for sure he received this award in real timeline or only in Troi's hallucination. – Tom 12:44, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Hurm... I sat ready to type that... but I have *NO* idea how best to phrase that. Are we sure it wouldn't be best to simply better delineate on the Walter Pierce page what we know of as fact (perhaps just his name?), and what was factually no more concrete then a delusion by Deanna Troi? Is this a matter where we shouldn't be judging the "character" of the character who spoke (I forget the exact wiki phrase that represents the idea)? Perhaps Deanna already knew all those things about him, because she was the counselor, and has enough memory recall to bring that information back up? Am I reading too much into things? Probably. I'm not arguing, and I'm not going to start just changing the article... but I'm confused about what MA policy would say about the subject. --Hossrex 22:51, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
