Orion Females[]
Hi! About the Celibacy Oath, would an Orion Female or even a Hybrid need to take that oath also, as they're very sexual in nature? – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.64.223.203 at 06:03, 2 June 2006 (UTC).

- While it is possible, there is no canon evidence of this and as Jaz said, we don't speculate. In fact, there is evidence to the contrary. Almost all of the Orion females that we have seen are quite active with their sexuality, even using it to take advantage of men. The exception would be those seen in "In A Mirror Darkly" and in an episode of the Animated Series, I think it was called "The Time Trap." Since the first of those took place in another universe, and the second was extraordinary circumstances, I think it is safe to say Orion Females do not take such an oath. --OuroborosCobra 06:09, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
- Since Orion women have never been seen as members of Starfleet (not including those in the Mirror universe), it's unlikely they would take an oath of celibacy. If there are female Orions in Starfleet, then they might have to take such an oat.
