TenseEdit

Shouldn't this page be written in the present tense as even though written from the POV of a starfleet archivist, surely non-corporeal lifeforms would still exist? - humans obviously do! --WormholeAlien 18:33, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Human is written in the past tense. --OuroborosCobra talk 18:35, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
In short, who knows what state the universe is in "now" as per our POV. What we know is that at some point, that was the case. Ergo, past tense. -- sulfur 18:39, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Good point, hadn't factored that into my argument --WormholeAlien 19:04, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Wait what? I'm sorry I dont get it. Why is this article written in the past tense and not in the present tense? It's not like a non-corporeal lifeform was specific to one particular episode, so why should it be written in the past tense? – Distantlycharmed 02:47, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
Read our POV statement. Because (and I quote myself here) "In short, who knows what state the universe is in "now" as per our POV. What we know is that at some point, that was the case. Ergo, past tense.". -- sulfur 03:37, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
