According to The Star Trek Encyclopedia, Updated and Expanded Edition, the character's name is spelled with an 'i', not a 'y'. I have made the corrections and placed a redirect to the new spelling.

My TNG Companion and the movie's credits have it spelled with a y. The other page should be a redirect.--31dot 23:00, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
