I would recommend a Disambiguation page for them, since the difference between "parasite" and "parasites" is very vague. People looking for those from the TOS episode may end up with those from "Conspiracy", not finding what they're looking for.

Before doing so, I would like to know if there are any objections against this? Ottens 00:51, 15 Aug 2004 (CEST)

I would add some general information to the disambiguation page since this is a term in itself. Something like: "Traditionally a lifeform that feeds of a host creature by attaching itself to it's host's nervous system. There have been two different species recorded that fall under this cattegory." -- Redge | Talk 11:33, 15 Aug 2004 (CEST)
A disambiguation page seems like a good idea -- but in this specific case, there's more to both neural parasites than your comment implies. They also take control of the host (to some degree) and are sentient in their own right. Your comments are an accurate description of a 'parasite', but not (at least IMHO) a 'neural parasite'. Perhaps parasite could be linked to the wiki entry for such an organism? Balok 16:31, 16 Aug 2004 (CEST)
The disambiguation page is the entry, but I envite you to expand that article. It's under Neural parasite. Good luck! -- Redge | Talk 16:52, 16 Aug 2004 (CEST)
I've added to the first paragraph, and provided an external link to the wikipedia for those interested in more about parasites, generally. Balok 21:50, 16 Aug 2004 (CEST)
