One of "The Expanse" ships?Edit

maybe i missed something.. when was it ever established that the unnmaed vessels were Neptune-class? this seems like pure speculation. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.14.13.23 (talk).

it's not speculation, nor canon, it's a temporary nickname to facilitate referencing, as most fan accepted conjecturnal classifications like Centaur of Curry etc. --- Valaraukar
Actually, it isn't. The Neptune-class was referenced to in the "Tucker goes mad about Archer's chair"-episode. But it was never claimed that the triangular ships were Neptunes. So the class exists, but we don't know what it looks like -- Harry 05:31, 16 Jan 2004 (PST)
The Intrepid can't possibly be Neptune class, if you look at the command chair seen in the shots of the Intrepid's bridge in "The Expanse", you will notice that the command chair lacks a headrest, which Enterprise's command chair has (in fact it looks like the Horizon's command chair). Since NX and Neptune class have the same command chair design, this proves that the Intrepid must be another class of ship. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.98.160.165 (talk).
Neither the article or this talk page suggested that the Intrepid could be a member of this class. --OuroborosCobra talk 21:56, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

And my comment wasn't necessarily directed at just you either. --Alan 20:38, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

Removed Edit

I removed:

  • It has been speculated that the two triangular ships seen in "The Expanse" and "Twilight" could be of the Neptune-class, but this has not been confirmed. The use of this class name is inconsistent with the classification system established in Enterprise. It may, however, be a colloquial term for a more correct class name.

Speaks for itself. --Alan 20:38, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
