Nanoprobes ... a Borg technology? Edit

Did the Federation really learn about these form our "Sounds Swedish" friends? Kojiro Vance | Talk 04:38, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

As far as we know, yes. Although the Federation does have the similar nanite technology. --OuroborosCobra talk 04:40, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Borg 'designing' nanoprobes. Edit

Has it been established that the borg designed the nanoprobes, rather than assimilating the technology in some other fashion? I've changed 'designed by the Borg' to 'used by the Borg'. --AnonyQ 08:28, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Name Edit

Should there be a note at the bottom of the page saying that Trek used the wrong name with Borg 'nanoprobes'? As far as I know, nanites are tiny machines, while nanoprobes are something different. – Fadm tyler 00:38, December 29, 2009 (UTC)

No. Star Trek doesn't take place in the real world. --OuroborosCobra talk 00:48, December 29, 2009 (UTC)

Are there actually more than one type of nanoprobe? Edit

"Releasing a series of nanoprobes in-to the blood stream" - EMH

From what the Doctor says in Scorpion isn't is possible he was implying that there were infact more than one type of nanoprobe?--Ducky1707 05:31, September 5, 2010 (UTC)
