Umm is it just me or isn't the Model at least that of what appears to be a miranda varient rather than the constillation class -- unsigned

It's definitely a constellation class starship. It has the four nacelles. --Klarina15:41, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Well there is certainly no such thing as a "constillation class" -- its spelled "constellation" -- and this model looks pretty clear cut to me:
NCC-7100

constellation class.

USS Reliant

miranda class.

USS Stargazer

constellation class.

removed info Edit

The following speculatory paragraph was added by an anon but removed by Jaz without placing it here for discussion/future reference. The following refers to the inaccuracies of Picard's Constellation-class NCC-1700 model. --From Andoria with Love 21:38, 15 Jan 2006 (UTC)

One posable theory is that it is something akin to a modern day hobby model, perhaps Jean Luc couldn't find a model of the stargazer so he got a generic Constillation instead. maybe it is yellow because Picard didn't paint it. Of course this makes sense because who do you think builds those models we always see lying around; do they come with the ship? Is there some loney dockworker whose job is to make those things and paint all those paintings and sculptures we see? No they must be made by the crew members whom they belong to."

It's speculative to refer to NCC-7100 as being an actual starship when it's only been seen as a model of a starship. – StarFire209 21:30, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

A little late, but I'm inclined to agree, in which case the Unnamed starships category should be removed, if we don't know that the model is an actual starship or not.--31dot 17:43, May 16, 2011 (UTC)
I'd remove it, but I don't know what category to put in its place.--31dot 00:37, May 21, 2011 (UTC)
