Redundant[]

we already have "Micrometeoroid shower", as well as articles on meteoroids. -- Alan 21:20, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

I agree. We can probably just merge this with micro-meteoroid shower. Regardless, at least the page is formatted. :P --From Andoria with Love 07:36, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

After viewing the episode in question, micrometeoroids were the only reference...the shower was something of an assumed reference based on it. -- Alan 18:26, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

'roids and -'rites[]

Learned from Wikipedia – if that’s not a contradiction in terms ;-) – that micrometeoroids and -rites are technically different. Should a division be made not only here but with meteoroids and -rites as the fact that the latter redirects to the former was my rationale for redirecting micrometeorites -- Archer4real (talk) 10:08, May 8, 2014 (UTC)?
A very good question, me; pity no one's answered it in the last 10 months, 11 days. Maybe we'll have better luck this time ;-) -- Archer4real (talk) 10:31, March 19, 2015 (UTC)
We haven't. Gasp! -- Archer4real (talk) 19:11, March 23, 2015 (UTC)
Fourth time of asking, should we seperate? -- Archer4real (talk) 10:57, November 17, 2015 (UTC)
It makes enough logical sense to split, but maybe the easier option would be to modify the definition paragraph analogous to the way Meteoroid does things: just mention that the product of a micrometeoroid is called a micrometeorid. -- Capricorn (talk) 17:02, November 18, 2015 (UTC)
