Speculation Edit

• There is no chemical compound named methyl oxide in real life; perhaps the writers meant methylene oxide (common name formaldehyde, H₂CO), or perhaps it was simply a made-up name.

It seems to have been added on the assumption that this was dimethyl ether. I don't see any reason to assume this was the case, so I removed the formula. (CH₃OCH₃) –Cleanse ^{( talk | contribs )} 06:54, August 11, 2011 (UTC)
