Burke's rankEdit

Strange; in Equinox part 1 Janeway calls him commander. I was going to change it. But the image here clearly shows him to be a lieutenant. Another of the show's dialog gaffes I suppose.– Watching... ^listening... 22:58, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Does anyone ever refer to Burke as a Lt? Cos if not, we should take the oral evidence over the costume, like for this guy: Piersall. – Cleanse 00:43, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

The same thing happened with Lessing. He was said to be a Crewman, but his uniform showed Ensign. Maybe both should be put down to confusion caused by Equinox's situation.

Unknown Information SourceEdit

Where does the information stating that Burke was initially security chief of the Equinox come from? That wasn't stated in the episodes. --Nero210 08:59, April 10, 2010 (UTC)

It comes from the novelization, I'm reading it now. It states that his specialty was tactical but he was field promoted to XO. Doesn't specifically say Security Chief, though, but I'm not finished yet. --AJHayson 00:33, February 1, 2012 (UTC)
