Quote length

Does the quote text need to be so long? It is nearly as long as the article proper... --OuroborosCobra talk 17:53, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

I just formatted it...I didn't write it --Morder 17:56, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Please ensure that you format them properly next time too. There's a particular way that we format quotes here on MA/en. It's used in many articles. Follow that styling. :) -- Sulfur 18:07, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Sure. I did copy the format of another article. It didn't have audio though. I didn't realize I had the quotes backwards. It was better than it was...I hope. Morder 18:12, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

I never suggested you wrote the quote, Morder. I didn't name you in my post, I did not direct it at you, etc. I don't care who wrote it. Now, does anyone want to talk about the length of the text? --OuroborosCobra talk 20:07, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

I know one person who does. (just kidding) How about if we remove the first 2 statements, and leave only the halfway-funny part?
"You will obey me."
"And if I refuse?"
(the organism shoots Kirk using the automatic bridge defense system)
"Obey me!"
- magnetic organism and Kirk

Looks good to me. --OuroborosCobra talk 21:14, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Could this being be related to the creature from "The Haunting of Deck 12"?
