Proper Capitalization Edit

Just a question for this type of article. Here, we are describing an alien device. There seems to be a disparity as to whether the word should be capitalized or italicized. Is there some sort of guidance for this kind of issue? Thanks. ----Willie 19:12, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
