"According to episode writer Mike Sussman, the name Lorian was an homage to the Elvish forest Lorien, found in J.R.R. Tolkien's novel Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring." And all this time I thought it had something to do with the De Lorean from "Back to the Future."
Family connections
Edit
In the sidebar, I added the known family of T'Pol and Trip, and the terminology used is that of Human terminology (on his Human side) and Vulcan terminology (on his Vulcan side) which is why it looks why i used one, and then the other.--Terran Officer 04:48, June 11, 2010 (UTC)
