I don't think the mastodons are invisible, Dax just meant you could'nt see it due to the foliage- rebelstrike2005

I think that since she was making a comparison with the cloaked Defiant, that the implication was that the mastodon was invisible or at least mostly so. There's nothing inherently impossible about that, anyway. -- EtaPiscium 21:16, 23 Dec 2004 (CET)
