The name from the script is "Vulcan Learning Center" - however I am unable to find a reference to "Learning pit" the script just calls them "bowls". — Morder (talk) 14:09, May 2, 2010 (UTC)

I've read the term "learning pit" on a website regarding Star Trek...but I cannot remember where. I've tried to follow my steps but I am not able to give a source yet. It was not from the script of the movie. – Tom 00:21, May 3, 2010 (UTC)

I'd personally be cautious about merging them, as they don't seem to be exactly the same thing; the learnings pits are the half-spherical study chambers, whereas the Vulcan Learning Center is the overall location of those pits. --Defiant 11:18, November 17, 2010 (UTC)
