'Tank'? Edit

What definition of 'tank' is in use here? Could it not very well be an armored [i]car[/i]? Perhaps renaming the article to 'Kolaran armored vehicle' would be better, just to cover all the bases. Or is there a better screenshot available that would give us a better idea of what it looks like? Kv1at3485 22:11, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

That's a good question -- I just checked the so-called "shooting script", and it makes no reference to a tank -- it just states that the Argo was surrounded by more aliens. A move to Kolaran armored vehicle should be fine, assuming there isn't a valid source for "tank". --From Andoria with Love 22:19, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure the useage of the term "tank" is that ambiguous. In fact, if you type tank into wikipedia, the primary article, features the type of vehicle essentially shown here. --Alan del Beccio 23:42, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

And Wikipedia defines a "tank" as being a 'tracked' armoured fighting vehicle. Can we say that the thing is tracked? Frankly the first thing I thought of just by looking at that picture was this. Kv1at3485 23:51, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

I put in the appears to be as that I was working off the pictures on the website, at a closer look at the DVD on a larger screen, I am just in my idea that the vehicle is a WWII British APC, the bonnet and turret assembly like that match, the side view is also a very close match (some smaller details I could not see) --LBraden 22:43, March 22, 2010 (UTC)

Was it used during WWII? The Wikipedia article states the UK started using it in 1956. In any event, if the comment remains uncited it may need to be removed.--31dot 11:59, October 30, 2011 (UTC)
