According to Big bang, the full name is K'mtu Ketteract. Is this correct? Either this article needs to be moved to the full name, or the name on the other page removed. -- Cid Highwind 06:09, 13 Apr 2005 (EDT)

Janeway only said "Dr. Ketteract", so 'K'mtu' is non-canon. Alex Peckover 06:24, 13 Apr 2005 (EDT)
Well then the question remains, where does K'mtu originate from? --Gvsualan 06:35, 13 Apr 2005 (EDT)
A Google search only produces four results - two of which are links back to Memory Alpha, and another is in Spanish. The last one just seems to be fan-fiction/speculation. Alex Peckover 02:19, 15 Apr 2005 (EDT)

I don't understand what "but this is not borne out as the creators' intentions" is supposed to mean. Are we supposed to understand that the author of Cloak (SD Perry) didn't want Ketteract to be named "Bendes" but that it was put in the novel anyway? If not, does "creators" refer to the writers of the Voyager episode? Why should we think they have any intentions about Ketteract's first name at all? --Jdvelasc 13:36, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

It means the episode creators. Its a longwinded note that the name and specifics are non-canon. Apparently, someone was nonplussed by the idea of a human Ketteract (because of the K'mtu appellation). -- Captain MKB 15:32, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
