I don't know if we should take the Vorta's word on them going insane and killing each other from lack of white. If Goran'Agar is any example, it would seem they kill each other in order to grant a more honorable death to their comrades, rather then let them die the slow dragged out death that lack of white would bring. This might seem insane to a Vorta, as they have been shown to underestimate and fail to understand the Jem'hadar. Tyrant 06:34, 20 Jan 2005 (CET)Tyrant

i think we have to take the vortas word on this subjet, it canon, and has not been disputed on screen. it is true that garan'ugar did say he was to hunt down his brethren and kill them before this happend, but what would happen in a situation like rocks and shoals, where there was no more white and no one left unafected by the withdrawel?

Speculation Edit

Presumably, the Dominion "subcontracted" white production to the Son'a because of the shortage. Given the repeated white supply problem, it is safe to assume that ketracel-white can't be replicated, which further ensures the Jem'Hadar's loyalty.

It is actually stated in one episode that ketracel-white cannot be replicated (I believe it is in "The Abandoned").

"I still don't understand why they would engineer someone to be addicted to a certain chemical."
"I suspect it's another way of ensuring the loyalty of the Jem'Hadar to the Founders. If your soldiers are addicted to a drug that can't be replicated and only you can provide, that gives you a great deal of control over them."

Something of it needs to get added back. It is supported by canon that it is non-replicatable, and you seem to have just removed the only thing saying that. --OuroborosCobra talk 16:05, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
No, the fact that it's non-replicatable needs to be added to the article and was only used to support the theory for the background note. — Morder (talk) 17:21, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
