Emmy nomination for Trek?Edit
According to an anon (and a number of bios on Soap Opera pages for Kathryn Hays), she was nominated for her role in Trek for an Emmy Award. I cannot find anything on any of the Emmy Award lists that suggest this to be the truth. Furthermore, the official Emmy Awards website does not list her at all as a nominee, for anything.
It generally suggests that "Emmy Awards Received two Emmy nominations for television guest roles in 1968" for the roles in "High Chaparral and Star Trek". TV.com also suggests that she received an Emmy for this with the wording "Her role in Star Trek earned her an Emmy Award-Nomination." Oddly, the Emmy Award lists from 1968 and 1969 out there have no mention of her name whatsoever among the nominees. Thoughts? -- sulfur 17:42, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
- It could have been a Los Angeles area Emmy. It's basically a lesser-known but official off-shoot of the Emmys that began in the early 1950s. It's also possible it was a Primetime Emmy nomination in the guest star category and that listings for that category are missing or incomplete. Either way, her official bio on CBS.com says she did indeed receive Emmy nominations for both shows. --From Andoria with Love 19:13, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
