This probably is irrelevant but I thought I would give it a shot. Could the unexplained differences in the varieties of Kanar be explained by equating Kanar to Wine, or Liqueur rather than a specific type of beverage. To say, "I want a glass of Kanar" could be the equivalent of saying "I want a glass of wine." Or even, "I want an alcoholic beverage" Just a thought.(Vince 15:54, 15 December 2008 (UTC))

It's called discontinuity and it happens all the time, especially with small things like this. 72.200.151.13 05:16, December 12, 2014 (UTC)

Casey Biggs getting "weird"? Edit

Anybody else kinda curious as to the comment about Casey Biggs getting "weird"? I mean, I know Karo Syrup is non-toxic, but I'm just wondering what the propmaster meant...--JYHASH 23:28, February 21, 2010 (UTC)

Ever give your little brother or sister some candy with a lot of sugar? I'm willing to bet Casey Biggs got so hyper (i.e. sugar rush) that it began affecting his performance. (Omega2010 01:10, February 25, 2010 (UTC))
There's no such thing as a sugar rush. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sugar_rush 72.200.151.13 05:14, December 12, 2014 (UTC)
The fact remains that the producers felt it affected his performance. 31dot (talk) 11:56, December 12, 2014 (UTC)

pronunciation? Edit

When kanar is introduced for the first time in "The Wounded" it is pronounced "kay-nar". Is it pronounced that way in any other episodes? In DS9 it's always pronounced "ka-nar"
