Nitpickery Edit

(*In horrible British accent*) The following has been found guilty of nitpickery! It is thereby sentenced to be hanged by the neck on this talk page until dead! So sayeth our sacred law. --From Andoria with Love 08:14, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Since the Malon's last appearance in "Extreme Risk", Voyager has travelled ten years closer to home in "Timeless" and another fifteen years in "Dark Frontier". It is odd that the crew should encounter another Malon ship after travelling such a vast distance.

Removed Edit

I removed the following bg note:

This info seems much more appropriate for the pages about Lee Arenberg and Ron Canada. --Defiant 00:25, May 2, 2011 (UTC)

Warp Speed Edit

I spotted an error. Paris says they can't go to warp because of the theta radiation, but in the next shot where we see voyager following the freighter, you can can see stars whizzing past. At sub-light speeds it would take decades to move past even one star. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.194.190.179 (talk).

  • Let's not forget that they also managed to fly freighter from seemingly open space into an O-type star in UNDER a couple hours at sub-light speeds. O-type stars are much more massive than our own sun and millions of times brighter. Within two hours of sub-light distance, Voyager would have been blinded by the star through the whole episode. The highest estimation I've seen (and right here on MA) is that it was mentioned Voyager could travel at 80% light speed at full impulse. Even assuming the Malon freighter was traveling that fast, that would only put them a little farther from that massive, intensely bright star as Saturn's orbit around our sun. But this was Voyager and all the godawful writing threw real physics right out the window. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 174.50.235.135 (talk).
