Does anyone know if Cromwell actually played the part of Cochrane in In a Mirror, Darkly? Obviously, they reused the clips from First Contact, but for the new clips, is that actually Cromwell or is it a lookalike? Signed, BMS
He's not credited on IMDb and I have a great respect for that website. --rebelstrike 16:10, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)
In the podcast commentary about this episode they say he wasn't. There is an uncreditted stand-in whose hand you see when he shoots the vulcan, the rest is re-used from First Contact.
Appearances as Zefram Cochrane Edit
Under "Appearances as Zefram Cochrane," the article lists "In a Mirror, Darkly" (archive footage from Star Trek: First Contact; uncredited). Shouldn't it be noted that here Cromwell played the mirror-universe version of Cochrane? (The fact that archival footage was used is irrelevant to this issue.) Memory Alpha does seem to maintain a distinction between regular-universe people and their mirror-universe counterparts.
- Indeed, you are correct. Since it is technically a different character, an image of his appearance as the mirror Cochrane should probably be added to the "additional characters" table, but for now I'll merely specifiy that the archive footage was used to represent a mirror version of Cochrane. --From Andoria with Love 08:37, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
I have tried to slim down the information on this page as much as possible, but some might still consider it too long. However, I think this can be forgiven since Cromwell has made mady appearances on Trek (about five, if I remember correctly) and he is one of the most prolific actors in Hollywood. (Also, please don't place the info into a listed filmography -- a narrative is usually preferred over a list.) --From Andoria with Love 22:36, 1 Dec 2005 (UTC)
