Inspector general's office[]

This should be merged with Inspector general, similar to how Judge Advocate General and the Judge Advocate General's Office are in the same article. -- Renegade54 13:15, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Makes sense to me. Make it so dude. :) -- Sulfur 13:17, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Caps[]

Why does the article title have an uppercase I and lowercase g? Going back to the Judge Advocate General example, this article should properly be Inspector General. Starfleetjedi

I think it is that way because the first paragraph of an article refers to such an office in general, not just Starfleet's Inspector General's office. However, since the only example is of one specific office, we certainly could capitalize it and reword that first paragraph.--31dot 10:01, July 19, 2011 (UTC)

OK, let's do it: Inspector General. Starfleetjedi 21:49, July 20, 2011 (UTC)

I guess the redirect has to be deleted before someone can make the move. Starfleetjedi 21:50, July 20, 2011 (UTC)

First, read talk pages for MA's indent policy. Second, the page can be moved by an administrator over the redirect after a period of time, so everyone has a chance to see this, if there are no objections. There is no reason to break the redirect until then. - Archduk3 22:00, July 20, 2011 (UTC)

You could have made this clear without almost getting me into an revert war, y'know. Starfleetjedi 22:05, July 20, 2011 (UTC)

You could have waited five minutes for a response on the talk page, y'know? Reading the entire deletion policy might have help as well. - Archduk3 22:17, July 20, 2011 (UTC)
