Egypt Edit

• Imhotep is also the name of an ancient Egyptian god on Earth and was the name of the title character in the Mummy films. There is supposedly no relation, but that is clearly where the writers got the name.

Other than the obvious fact that Imhotep is only depicted as a god in the movie, not real Egyptian mythos, this note makes a great many claims and denials all without citation. For those interested, Imhotep was essentially a scientist, engineer, and architect, very much considered real, and very much a mortal. --OuroborosCobra ^talk 01:51, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
