Edit
- "Because of its abundance, ease of manufacture, and high energy release per atom, hydrogen is frequently used as a fuel in many forms of power generation, including methanol production, petroleum refining and rocket propulsion. However, its volatility also makes it highly combustible. On Earth, this was discovered after several tragedies in the 20th century involving airships being destroyed when their hydrogen tanks (used for buoyancy) ignited and exploded."

Symbol: Cs?
Edit
Why does it say "Symbol: H or Cs" ? Cs is caesium.– The preceding unsigned comment was added by 173.13.157.165 (talk).
- I'm not sure but my guess it has to do with the fact that there are a lot of gag substances and gag symbols on the periodic table seen in Star Trek, which was seen on screen despite the fact it wasn't intended to be(it has also been released as a prop) We have Daffyduckium as well. As long as it was seen in canon, it's OK.--31dot 08:41, August 14, 2011 (UTC)
- 31dot is correct. The Table of Elements seen on-screen in "Rascals" lists Hydrogen twice; first by its proper symbol and location, and then further down under "Cs". A legible version can be seen in Star Trek: The Next Generation - The Continuing Mission, p. XIV. According to the Memory Alpha: Canon policy, if its seen on-screen, it's canon, whether its legible or not.–Cleanse ( talk | contribs ) 11:28, August 14, 2011 (UTC)
