TWOK Edit

Kirk could also be seen wearing glasses in the second Star Trek motion picture, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.--Mathwizard44 06:22, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

From Talk:Bifocal Visual Aid Edit

And these are significantly different from glasses how? --Alan 02:54, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Well, they're obviously different. Don't you see it?  :P -- Sulfur 03:04, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Not with the image posted here that has a wiki link directing to the other page. :) --Alan 03:10, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

I would support a merge of this with glasses- even I can "see" that. :)--31dot 03:16, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
Hey, whatever, I don't mind. I just saw a red link and created the article. I like going round fixing stubs and creating red link articles. Maybe it should be merged with glasses. :) -- TrekFan 17:52, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
I support a merge, maybe with a redirect. – Tom 07:54, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

I "saw" the logic in all your arguments, and merged the pages accordingly. :-)– Cleanse 09:56, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Holodeck characters Edit

Do instances in which glasses & sunglasses worn by holo-characters qualify as being relevant enough to be added to this (and the Eyewear: Sunglasses) catagory? ~ anonymous (as always), 02.01.2010

The Undiscovered Country Edit

Doesn't the Federation president wear tinted glasses on several occasions in the film? They had smoked lenses, and no earpieces, as I recall. Linotypist 08:58, May 24, 2010 (UTC)

Merge from Kirk's reading glassesEdit

This should be merged with glasses, as this pair did not have a particular name and we usually don't identify specific items unless they do. We've merged/deleted articles like this in the past.--31dot 11:16, September 6, 2011 (UTC)

That makes sense. See 1986. A prop for the pawn shop ticket for Kirk's glasses allegedly on display at Star Trek: The Experience was dated August 19, 1986, suggesting that the two days over which these events took place were August 19 and 20.
I have submitted the picture of the pawn ticket. Where should it go?
--Tedpronj 11:34, September 6, 2011 (UTC)

What do you mean by "allegedly" on display? It either was or was not. Anyway, since the picture is not from canon, it would need to go in the Background section of the article. It needs proper citations and license per the image use policy first, though.--31dot 11:53, September 6, 2011 (UTC)

The original article 1986 before my edit said "allegedly on display". It was on display, I took the picture and uploaded it.
