someone had listed fungilli in Italy's food list, but upon further googling i can't find any record of this being a real human food -- the only references i find to the word "fungilli" relating to food come from this episode. (i checked, this is the script spelling... any alternate spelling i simply overlooked?)
did they show the stuff in the episode?.. some sites describe it as pasta, but seeing as the 'Italian food' part was in error, i wonder if this is an incorrect after the fact assumption. -- Captain M.K.B. 19:18, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
The correct italian term is Fusilli. --Francesco Dax 10:48, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- That might be, but Fungilli is the term that was used in the episode. It could refer to a dish not created until the 24th Century.--31dot 11:10, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- In some italian regions local pronouncing of Fusilli sounds as Fu(n)gilli (p.e. in Emilia Romagna). Greetings from Italy (of the past).--93.65.61.136 19:39, February 2, 2010 (UTC)
