Midsummer Night's Dream similaritiesEdit

A quote from the Deep Space Nine Companion:

"As every literary-minded fan knows, Star Trek has many ties to the works of William Shakespeare. In that noble tradition, "Fascination" was an attempt by the producers to bring the humor and charm of A Midsummer Night's Dream to the station."

Picture Overload? Edit

As stated in the discussion about the epsiode Meridian Memory Alpha "is not an image gallery". This article seem to be overfilled with pictures, too. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Shh (talk • contribs).

Betazoids reading ChangelingsEdit

Can anyone remember in what part of Fascination is it stated that Betazoids can't read Changelings? I watched the episode fairly recently and I didn't catch it. MaGnUs 00:21, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

When Troi and Odo were dancing on the promenade she says "I may not be able to read your emotions but I can still read your expressions. ThetaOrion 18:21, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

Right, thanks for that.MaGnUs 21:22, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

Purple Edit

Can anyone give me a source for the whole "forbidden purple" thing? ThetaOrion 18:21, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

According to the citation it comes from the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion. — Morder (talk) 18:19, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

Removed Edit

  • The older-age Betazoid disease affecting Ms. Troi causes her romantic feelings for Odo to be projected onto others. This is similar to Bendii Syndrome, a condition affecting older Vulcans that causes telepathic projection of powerful, mostly negative emotions onto others, from which Sarek of Vulcan suffered (TNG episode "Sarek").

Removed the above, as we only note similarities which can be proven to be deliberate, which I'm pretty sure this isn't.--31dot 01:24, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
