Speculation?[]
I removed this part, but maybe it belongs (just seemed speculative to me):
- They appeared to be an androgynous species, which is supported by their strong amphibian appearance. They lacked any form of known gender identifying features. This was probably to make reproducing easier since the species only consisted of a few dozen members at the most. It is unknown how this species managed to make its continued existence possible. Reproduction would be difficult for a species that relied mostly on sheer luck to move from ship to ship to find resources. And with a population of so few it is also unknown how they managed to avoid inbreeding.
