Were PHlox's images of T'Pol's teeth actually referred to as "x-rays" ? -- Captain M.K.B. 17:20, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

It doesn't appear so, (Transcript) so the pic should probably be renamed unless other evidence can be found. - AJ Halliwell 02:16, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
Just watched the relevant scene from "Dear Doctor" and it is definitely not identified as an x-ray. Certainly the image that is displayed is far more dynamic than an x-ray (there is a pulsing indicator identifying the site of the cavity). Additionally, I would guess that X-rays weren't used for medical imaging in the 22nd century (since they will shortly be unnecessary even in the 21st century). Jim 02:26, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
Looks like some sort of nMRI to me, but that's just a guess--205.188.116.6 18:45, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

"T'Pol had a cavity in one of her tricuspids that Dr. Phlox had to repair " Edit

are you quite sure that's correct, they're usually better with the treknobabel than that, unless Vulcans have an odd tendency to get cavaties in their heart valves--205.188.116.6 18:47, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Nothing wrong here, tricuspid teeth exist as well: [1]. --Jörg 22:28, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
