Gysulan, Are you sure they didn't say circa 600 AD rather than 6th century? Because the 6th century was circa 500 - 599, and this was not a part of the Viking period. If you are going to use the dates from the episode, then please indicate they are the dates from the episode, rather than real dates. Dado 00:03, 7 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Computer: "The program is a holonovel based on the epic Earth poem 'Beowulf'."
Tuvok: "Beowulf?"
Chakotay: "An ancient English epic set in 6th century Denmark, if I remember correctly. It's about a hero named Beowulf who fights a creature that's terrorising the kingdom and murdering its subjects. Monsters and swordplay, that sort of things."
Perhaps he didn't remember correctly? None-the-less, this is what was said in the episode. - AJHalliwell 00:33, 7 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Removed bginfo regarding Greenland Edit

This unsourced statement was in the {{bginfo}}:

Denmark also holds political control of the island of Greenland, which is visible on a downloaded world map in TOS: "The Cage".

I removed it, for it doesn't seem relevant, nor is it sourced. If we're listing facts about Denmark, where would we stop? That it once controlled large portions of England ("Danelaw")? Or that Denmark was occupied by the Nazis in World War II? The latter, while not sourced, seems more relevant because both World War II and (especially) Nazis were referenced in Trek? (VOY: "The Killing Game", "The Killing Game, Part II", ENT: "Storm Front", "Storm Front, Part II", TOS: "The City on the Edge of Forever", "Patterns of Force")

Nonetheless, I don't think any of that belongs in the background, unless it's referenced. Even then, I'm not sure it would belong in the background for this article: I don't see why it would be relevant if some non-canon source, say in an interview with Rick Berman, stated it. (Maybe it's ok for the background on the Greenland page, where it already exists, though unsourced.) Of course, I could be completely wrong. If so, please re-insert the removed text!
