Chirurgical(e) is the French word for "surgical"! [1] GCapp1959 08:59, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

PNA / Andorian language term? Edit

Has it really been stated that this is an Andorian language term? If not, it should probably just be merged with some other medical article, because a chirurgeon is just that: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/chirurgeon -- Cid Highwind 23:57, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

Agreed. This should be merged with surgeon. I guess the universal translator was feeling creative that day.– Cleanse ( talk | contribs ) 01:32, November 26, 2010 (UTC)
I can't say I agree - This wasn't an Andorian using a native term, this was doctor Bashir, a human who we'd expect to substitute the word surgeon if in his mind the two terms were equivalent. It seems to me that surgeon and Chirurgeon are not 100% the same thing. -- Capricorn 08:30, November 27, 2010 (UTC)

Well, then... the page currently states that chirurgeon "is an Andorian language equivalant for the word for 'surgeon'." I claim that the first part is not necessarily true - and now you claim that the second part isn't, either. If we're both right, then there isn't enough content left to even have an article about. -- Cid Highwind 16:17, November 27, 2010 (UTC)
