Date?Edit

This was added by an anon:

Captain Picard day is June 16th.

Where's that from? I don't remember any date as such being mentioned. -- sulfur 10:22, March 24, 2010 (UTC)

Neither do I, either in the original episode or in TATV.--31dot 10:27, March 24, 2010 (UTC)
It seems to be the result of using one of those stardate calculators on the stardate given in "The Pegasus". Even the TV channel Virgin 1, here in the UK, decided to use the June 16th date as their own "Captain Picard Day" and broadcast a load of Picard-centred episodes today, plus "The Pegasus" (since that's where the concept came from). I was highly amused by the geekiness of this. I'm not the anonymous person who put "Captain Picard day is June 16th" in the wiki article, though. Marianne 16:13, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
It's apparently a real thing, so I added some notes on it with an explanation. I hadn't heard about the Virgin 1 thing, though. That's actually pretty cool. I wonder if Sir Patrick knows? --BCSWowbagger 22:24, June 17, 2010 (UTC)
We don't do "fan calculations", as that would be original research, since no firm stardate system was established in canon. --31dot 22:26, June 17, 2010 (UTC)
