This is an orphan page. Is this the same species as Byzallian? -- Mjwilco 00:44, 15 Sep 2004 (CEST)

Nope. Amazing as it may seem, both similar-sounding species were mentioned in the same episode, in fact, the same scene. See [1], scene 1. -- Michael Warren | Talk 01:04, Sep 15, 2004 (CEST)

pna-inaccurateEdit

Is it really a species? Can we be 100% sure? It could also just be a mineral or something else. All we have is: "Kira, we've got six Byzatium transports coming in this afternoon. I've got to have more cargo space." Is there any hint this is a species and not something else?--Tobi72 21:39, December 24, 2010 (UTC)

Could someone please help to answer the question?--Tobi72 08:44, January 5, 2011 (UTC)

I add the {{pna-inaccurate}}, because it there seems not to be a proof for Byzatium to be a species. It more likely seems to be a substance or a mineral, due to the ending "ium". But even that is not canon.--Tobi72 20:59, January 5, 2011 (UTC)

The follow-on line about cargo space might suggest that "byzatium" is a substance or object of some kind, but it is not definitive. It could also be the name of a species. If we don't know what "byzatium" refers to, we may want to merge this with Byzatium transport.--31dot 13:55, April 11, 2011 (UTC)
Support - that's probably the best way to deal with the ambiguity.–Cleanse ( talk | contribs ) 23:52, April 11, 2011 (UTC)

No problem with that.--Tobi72 11:24, June 23, 2011 (UTC)
