These 'Border protection grids' ... are there any other references to them in canon, or do they appear only in the one movie?
The reason I question this is the number of times Earth and other Federation planets are attacked with no reference to these grids. 124.170.20.11 08:21, July 18, 2012 (UTC)
- Keep in mind that this reference was in the alternate reality, and as such it might be a term only used there. That said, it might just be a general term for Starfleet's defenses in the Sol System, such as the Mars Defense Perimeter and perhaps other automated systems like that. 31dot (talk) 09:11, July 18, 2012 (UTC)
