For that, see the background information I've provided from Inside Star Trek: The Real Story on the Spock page. Makee was on the list of "Vulcan replacements", but that list was only a psychological ploy by Herb Solow and Desilu against Nimoy and his agent, and in reality, only two actors were considered as possible replacements, Mark Lenard (ironic, isn't it?) and Lawrence Montaigne. -- Ltarex 20:11, February 14, 2012 (UTC)
