This has to moved to the "Timeless" article, unless we want to start articles about the fabric TNG uniforms are made from, the glue the model makers used to create the starship models and the computer programs used to create Species 8472... --Jörg 10:05, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

Not to mention the glitter used to make the transporter effect in TOS. I still think there may be an in-universe thing being overlooked here. In "what links here", we have a link from "Spectre of the Gun" through the baking soda redirect. There is nothing in the transcript, but is baking soda seen? In that case, the current contents of this article should be moved to "Timeless", and new in-universe contents should be made. I thought that was what was going to originally happen with this article, I was very surprised when it became real world. --OuroborosCobra talk 10:11, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
I found it! One can of baking soda, right in the episode! OK, now that we have an in-universe, let's re-write. I have not seen the episode in too long, honestly I don't remember what that scene was about, but having the image should help those that do. --OuroborosCobra talk 10:22, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
When I first saw this article, it was a bare definition of sodium bicarbonate. Next, OuroborosCobra added a "needs citation" notice and a category template. Thinking that this article was nonsense, but wanting to keep in the holiday spirit, I ran a Google search and the only connection to Star Trek that bicarbonate had was the StarTrek.com article that I linked. If, in fact, bicarb appeared in "Spectre of the Gun", then it should obviously be part of this article and the real world referrences moved or removed. I was simply trying to make lemonade out of a lemon. --GNDN 17:02, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
