PNA-incompleteEdit

I've created this article, followed a red link. I'm sure there are more episodes which mentions Bajoran law. – Tom 16:07, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

At a quick glance, the most obvious addition is "Profit and Loss" regarding cloaking devices. There is also a reference in "Sons of Mogh" regarding the Klingons "getting close to violating Bajoran space but they're never crossing the line." And finally, a reference in "Past Prologue" regarding the Aldara firing on the Bajoran scout ship and being told that it was "violating Bajoran space." --Alan 20:46, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
Maybe a mention of Assault with intent to kill, as described by Odo in "Who Mourns for Morn?".--31dot 23:32, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Starfleet regulationEdit

Re: Deep Space 9 station regulation 82/7B, should this really be lumped in with "Starfleet regulations"? It seems to me that this is more of a Bajoran regulation, seeing as 1) DS9 was technically a Bajoran station and 2) Odo was enforcing this rule vs. Starfleet. --Alan 20:11, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Actually, Cadet Nog was the one enforcing this. -Rhinecanthus rectangulus 20:19, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
Just double checked the script to see in what capacity Nog was working, it states he was working as a "station security officer". So perhaps you are right, he may have been stating a Bajoran regulation. Think the article should stand alone and mention in a background section that the regulation may have been Bajoran or Starfleet in nature, but the script was not clear? -Rhinecanthus rectangulus 20:24, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Well, there are also other references aside from this one to "station regulation 4721" and "station regulation 2562" ("The Sound of Her Voice"), as well as unnumbered regulations in "Tears of the Prophets" , "The Ascent", and "The Search, Part II" -- which contrasts with the Federation/Starfleet "Special Order 66715" that seems to be outside boundaries of "station regulations". Maybe we need a page on Bajoran law (which was spoken of quite often) or simply Deep Space 9 regulations? I'm in favor of the idea that these were Bajoran regulations, which would explain why Odo was even in charge of security in the first place (working for the Bajorans)...otherwise I doubt he could enforce Starfleet regulations.... --Alan 20:36, 18 April 2008 (UTC) Or now seeing that there is a "Bajoran law" page, having not realized that before, perhaps a DS9 regulations section to that article, which needs work anyway. --Alan 20:41, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Sounds like a good idea, I'd be happy to help. I'm going to be taking off here shortly for the weekend, but would be happy to lend a hand with tracking down references, etc. for the Bajoran law page when I return. -Rhinecanthus rectangulus 20:43, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
Moved to Bajoran law, expanded Bajoran law article significantly in the process. -Rhinecanthus rectangulus 20:21, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
