Why shouldn't force field link to force field? And Holography link to Holograms? That's what those things are.--31dot 22:27, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

You know this for a fact? Linking just force field in "force field projection" may not be accurate, or is at least, misleading, when the description and examples are more than a mere "invisible wall protecting the brig or warp core", also, a hologram would seem to be a product of holography, removing the link by piping it removes potential (in both cases) of creating perfectly legit articles to terms that are more specific than what they were replaced with. --Alan del Beccio 22:31, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

I concede your point about holography, though I thought that absent such an article it could link to holograms, since that's what was done in the episode(holograms were used). Force field projection, however, is just the act of projecting a force field. The definitition of force field is quite clear. Its uses may be varied, but a force field is a force field.--31dot 22:38, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

A phaser is a phaser, but they come in many different shapes, sizes, uses, and articles. Anyway, upon further review of that scene, I can concede to your point about force fields, however I would like to add that there is a notable difference between her ability to project a force field, from her ship, onto the Enterprise by simply waving her hand and stopping work in his tracks. Clearly that form and use of the technology is much more advanced than anything else we've seen before, or likely since. --Alan del Beccio 23:40, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

I for one was always rather disappointed that none of the Trek shows(or even the current MMO) ever revisited the Con Artist known as "Ardra". I would have loved to see her become a recurring character like the much less interesting Vash. The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk) at 17:26 on 11 April 2014.
