TV vs Movie color versions Edit

I'm afraid the revisions are incorrect: the standard (movie) version is blue, the TV version is white as marked. BTW, Previews/Diamond is only a N. American importer and may have gotten it wrong. Both versions were available in Japan. The previous release dates were correct for Japan, please see websites below. And the only time the Ent-D is blue is in the movie Generations! ;) Info here: http://www.hlj.com/product/AOS08713 First time shown here: http://www.hlj.com/shows/shs11aosreport.html TV image version (later): http://www.modelcars.com/aoshima-star-trek-uss-enterprise-ncc1701d-tv-version-prebuilt-and-painted.html http://www.hlj.com/product/aos08715/Sci I'll revert the article unless evidence shows otherwise.Darth Duranium (talk) 06:11, September 6, 2014 (UTC)

You wanted evidence, here are a few pieces. The ship has always been light blue, the studio used floodlights to neutralize the color but on more than a few occasions the light blue color managed to show through the intense light, even before the remastered blu-ray. Btw the package of the first Enterprise does not in any way shape or form mention the movie Generations so I altered the article to reflect that. The Enterprise's color was never white on tv even when it was grainy, it appeared grey/silver with the occasional blue showing through.. Well yeah, I know the Ent-D is pale blue but it really only appears that way crash-landed in Generations, your pics don't show otherwise. The first Aoshima version is not marked "standard edition" so it's not appropriate for the article, removed. Previews may have had the TV image version as a N. American exclusive (I'll take your word for it) but this does not apply to Japan or elsewhere. In any case, the article was totally correct before all the recent revisions! Yes it does appear pale blue, the images I provided show that. You clearly choose to ignore the evidence. (108.4.45.93 19:10, September 6, 2014 (UTC))
