Is it not possible that this relates to the Antedeans, rather than the Antideans, or did the script for the episode in question specifically spell it a certain way? --Jayunderscorezero 01:25, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, it is spelled this way because that is how it appears in the script, which adds the pronunciation "AN-tee-dee-an", which seems to be the same way Antedeans is pronounced ("an-TEE-DEE-an") in the "Manhunt" script. As I recall, Tarkalean was misspelled "Tarkalian" in another script, so it could very well be that these are the same species. The only hitch is Picard's line in "Manhunt" about the Antedeans: "It is a self-induced catatonic state. Their way of dealing with the trauma of spaceflight." --Alan 01:31, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, I just thought I'd better check. Thanks for clearing that up. --Jayunderscorezero 14:50, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
