The asteroid strike and subsequent radiation may have led to increased tensions between Earth and Terra Nova, particularly when people started dying, but I see no persuasive evidence it caused the hostility in and of itself. It was the colonists'perceptions plus the newcomers business of 2083 that brought about the cut-off, hence my change. --Archer4real 16:45, January 14, 2012 (UTC)
