Now, is the planet referenced in "The Child" called aucdet or audet IX?In the script it says aucdet and also in the German version of the TV episode. Was it pronounced audet in the original version? Kennelly 11:46, 11 Feb 2005 (GMT)
It was pronounced with a silent 'c' ("O-Det" according to the pronounciation guide in the script), but written "'aucdet", which is where the article belongs: 'aucdet IX. -- Cid Highwind 11:57, 11 Feb 2005 (GMT)
- 'aucdet IX (actually 'AUCDET NINE) can be read on a medical LCARS display in the episode. --Jörg 01:40, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
'audet IX
Edit
Spelling in the Star Trek Encyclopedia is 'audet IX. Although the encyclopedia may not be the "final word" on a subject, it's usually a good start. M/A, as far as I knew, aspired to be at least as comprehensive as this book. The updatability of wiki would seem to give it an advantage of being more current.--Mike Nobody 05:30, 28 Sep 2005 (UTC)
