Star Trek: The Next Generation - Season Three is a Blu-ray Disc release featuring the complete third season of Star Trek: The Next Generation in 1080p high-definition, released in April 2013. [1] As with Season One, the Season Three remastering work was completed by CBS Digital. One of the unique features on this set is footage of actor David Rappaport as the original Kivas Fajo, shot just weeks before his death. [2]

Theatrical showingEdit

On 25 April 2013, the week before the set was scheduled for release in the North America, movie theaters across the United States held special showings of the theatrical-length edit of "The Best of Both Worlds", along with a cut-down portions of the Blu-ray documentaries. [3]

Online content Edit

In addition to the list of special features included on the Blu-ray set, an additional fifteen-minute feature focusing on the series' use of visual effects was available only to consumers who purchased the Season Three set at Best Buy stores.

In North America, this feature was only available as a digital download through Best Buy's "CinemaNow" streaming media service, and focused on the making of the first season episode. [4]
