TCARS is an acronym for Touch Command Access and Retrieval System. It is the successor to the Federation LCARS. It is operated by touch or by simply moving hand over it.

The TCARS computer system was used on board the USS Relativity (Wells-class) during the 29th century. It is unknown as to when this system had become implemented on board starships, or if it's in use on all Starfleet starships. On the Relativity, it could be used to locate past problems in a timeline along with performing normal starship computer routines. (VGR: Relativity)
