Steven John Evans (born 2 August 1960; age 51) from Kansas City, Missouri, and the actor who portrayed a Starfleet security guard in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "The Maquis, Part I".

Evans also portrayed supporting characters in the Hearts Afire episode Fat Like Me (1994, with regulars Mark Harelik and Leslie Jordan) and in the action thriller Lipstick Camera (1994, with Terry O'Quinn).
